Ticket To Work

As an Employment Network for Ticket to Work (TTW) we work with people with disabilities who are seeking employment and financial independence.

Benefits Counseling

CPWD offers Benefits Counseling as a service provider for DVR (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation).

Career Coaching

CPWD employs a Career Coach who can assist adults seeking employment, or needing help with employment-related issues.

Ticket To Work

People worry that if they get a job, they will lose their income or medical benefits. That’s why we have Benefits Counselors on staff to assist individuals in making a financially sound plan from living off benefits to earning a living.

Ticket to Work has specific requirements:

1.  You must be receiving Social Security benefits (SSI/ SSDI/ or both)

2.     You must be between the ages of 18- and 64 years old

3.     You must not be currently working with another Employment Network or DVR

4.     You must have a goal of working and reducing dependency on benefits

5.     You must want to eventually work above the Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA) level (click here for current SGA amounts).

6.     You must be willing to work with CPWD staff toward your employment goals

Benefits Counseling

CPWD offers Benefits Counseling as a service provider for the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and is available for people receiving services through DVR or on a Medicaid Waiver. 

Benefits Counseling can help you navigate the complex balance between earning income and receiving benefits. Our staff are Community Partner Work Incentives Counselors (CPWICs), who have been expertly trained to understand the laws, requirements, and processes. They can assist you in finding the best path to sustainable income and independence without losing your benefits or security in the process.

Career Coaching

CPWD employs a Career Coach who can assist adults seeking employment, or needing help with employment-related issues, such as accommodations, transportation, supervisor communications, and so forth.
